The PADI 5 Star Dive Resort status is awarded to progressive centres that excel in providing quality services to travelling divers. The centre must present a professional image and actively promote the benefits of recreational scuba diving and snorkeling, dive travel and environmental awareness. Not only must the centre adhere to PADI educational standards, it must conduct PADI programmes as outlined in the PADI Instructor Manual using all appropriate materials for each course. A Gold Palm Resort must consider customer satisfaction, dive experience, education, safety and environmental awareness as important aspects of diver training programmes.
A PADI 5 Star Dive Resort must satisfy a number of pre-requisites and requirements including:
• Have accommodation available as part of an advertised package. Accommodation must offer comfort and convenience to customers and be appropriate for the local area
• In areas where dives are commonly conducted by boat, the vessel must be well maintained and meet any local laws or regulations regarding boat operations
• When operating a dive boat ensure that it is equipped with at least:
- One fire extinguisher
- One personal flotation device per passenger
- Flares or emergency signalling device
- First Aid kit
- Oxygen unit with an adequate supply of oxygen
- Safety stop equipment
- Dive Flag - Drift line with float
• Ensure that at least one crew member who is trained to operate the boat's oxygen unit and properly administer oxygen for any diving incidence is onboard the dive boat when carrying passengers
• Ensure that all rental scuba units and snorkelling equipment are maintained according to the manufacturer's specifications and that each scuba unit is equipped with a submersible pressure gauge, depth gauge, alternate air source and a power inflation device.
Four Seasons Hotel

This facility is a PADI Five Star Career Development Centre, the highest award for a diving centre within PADI. With this in mind you can expect only the best. Our friendly and experienced staff is able to cater for anybody wanting to experience Scuba Diving or learning to dive. There is also a vast availability for those divers which would like to take it a little bit further, by either doing one of our specialty courses or taking the next step on the ladder. With four Instructor Development Courses per year Dive-In is your choice for this new adventure.
Equipped with brand new MARES and APEKS equipment you can be assured that you only get the best.
The Dive-in facility offers the full range of PADI, DAN and IAHD courses. There is something for everybody. Get a comfortable start in the heated swimming pool in the hotel grounds.

Ever fancied driving a boat?? Come and join us for our two days RYA Powerboat II program. Learn from the professionals how to drive a boat safely through the water.
Diving
At Dive-In we cater not only for those which want to learn to dive or continue diving. We also have something fro those divers, which just want to have a relaxed time under water without any pressures of courses etc. Offering daily local dives from shore or boat, you can be looking forward to some great diving.
There is also several ½ and full day trips available to Agia Napa and Paphos. Paphos offers a selection of dives, from either shore or boat. Treat yourself to something different.
When diving in Cyprus then you can not miss to dive the world-famous wreck of the Zenobia. This fantastic wreck lays in 42 metres of water, on its port side. Starting at a depth of 19 metres, this dive is for Advanced Open water Divers and above. This daytrip takes you to Larnaka by car and then onto the Catamaran “Queen Zenobia” Completing two dives on this wreck will allow you to see the whole ship. After the second dive you will be starving and have worked up a good appetite for the BBQ lunch served on the boat. What a day out. Not all people in your family are divers?? No problem, take your loved ones with you on this great trip. They can enjoy the day on the big catamaran and go snorkelling.

Mediterranean Beach Hotel
Another of Dive-In's finest. Based in the luscious gardens of the Mediterranean Beach Hotel, this well equipped diving centre caters for all your needs as far as diving, snorkelling and any other water sports activity is concerned. This facility is a PADI Dive Resort and offers the full range of PADI, BSAC, IAHD and DAN courses.
