TDI Nitrox Instructor

is an entry level course for instructors wishing to teach enriched air Nitrox as a breathing gas. Little else has impacted recreational diving more than the introduction of Nitrox, allowing more time underwater. During this course, instructors learn the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for teaching EAN 22 to EAN 40.

TDI Advanced Nitrox Instructor

qualifies Nitrox Instructors to teach the use of enriched air Nitrox from EAN 21 through EAN 100 to a depth of 40 metres/130 feet during dives that do not require staged decompression. Often taught in conjunction with the TDI Decompression Procedures Instructor course, this can be considered the first step to beginning your technical diving teaching career.

TDI Decompression Procedures Instructor

prepares the Advanced Nitrox Instructor to teach the theory, methods and procedures of planned staged decompression diving. While this course is taught in conjunction with TDI Advanced Nitrox Instructor Course, it also can be paired with TDI Advanced Wreck Instructor.

TDI Extended Range Instructor

The instructor candidate will receive training in the proper techniques, equipment requirements and hazards of extended range diving to depths of up to 55 metres/180 feet, while utilizing Nitrox mixtures and oxygen for staged decompression.

TDI SCR Rebreather Instructor

which includes the Drager Dolphin and Ray, Submatix ST100 and the Azimuth, trains instructor candidates to present the benefits, proper procedures, hazards and skills of SCR diving to students. Depending on the specific unit, up to six dives will be completed while accumulating up to 150 minutes of bottom time. Instructor candidates will demonstrate mastery of skills that include proper planning, pre-dive checks, bail-out procedures and PO2 monitoring to name a few.

TDI Gas Blender Instructor

The instructor candidate will receive a foundation of skills and knowledge that is needed to blend enriched air Nitrox for recreational divers. After covering academic subjects including the responsibilities of the gas blender, oxygen handling, gas production equipment and oxygen analyzing the candidate will demonstrate proficiency in blending enriched air Nitrox as well as conducting the TDI Gas Blender course.

TDI Advanced Gas Blender Instructor

The candidate will develop and master the skills and knowledge needed to conduct the TDI Advanced Gas Blender Course to produce custom mix gases for technical diving that include helium. As with all instructor level training, the candidate will demonstrate their ability to conduct this course with proficiency.
