GO-PRO Preparation Program

The GO-PRO Preparation Program is an entry-level format aimed at developing a Recreational Diving Student to becoming a highly competent PADI Divemaster Graduate, confident in the numerous skills and knowledge levels that they have just achieved.

It is designed to cover all courses that are required from the Advanced Open Water Diver rating with 50 dives logged* or equivalent, and being able to proceed to complete a full PADI IDC/IE, (Instructor Development Course and Instructor Examination) and to be sure of passing the IE.

*If you do not have the necessary amount of dives logged then why not arrive a week or so earlier and complete as many dives as you need. You must have 60 Dives Logged to exit the Divemaster Program.

This program can be entered at any of the levels, providing that you meet the prerequisites..

The program consists of the following courses:

• EFR (Emergency First Response) Primary Care and Secondary Care with AED 1/2 day
• Emergency First Response Care for Children 1/2 day
• PADI Oxygen First Aid Speciality 1/2 day
• Dan Oxygen Provider 1/2 day
• PADI Rescue Diver 2 days
• PADI Divemaster 8 days
• PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Diver Speciality 1 day

The GO-PRO Preparation Program covers a 13-day period, during which time you will learn the basic and advanced techniques of Instructor controls and inputs necessary for a Professionally Qualified Diver who wishes to pursue a structured career in PADI Diver Training.

You will improve your diving knowledge and your water skills tremendously during this phase of your training. Different Instructors will tutor you during the program and this will allow you to see many different perspectives whilst also sharing their knowledge and experience.

During the Divemaster Course you will also have the benefit of hands on experience with actual students at one of our Dive Centres. This further consolidates and allows you to appreciate what you have learnt during your in depth training. This puts into real life practice the skills and knowledge that you have just gained during your GO-PRO Preparation Program training.
