Once you have completed the PADI IDC with us, you will be trained and prepared to attend a PADI Instructor Examination which is the final step toward your PADI Open Water Instructor Certification. As a PADI 5* CDC Facility it is understood within the diving community that our Instructional applications are higher than standard IDC outlets. Because of this there exists a waiver from PADI that allows you to attend the Instructor Examination, (IE), without the need for the 100 logged dives required if you attended your course through a normal IDC location. I attended the Instructor Development Course run by Dive-In Cyprus and their Platinum Course Director Jurg Dahler. It was held at Dive-In’s special Residential Instructor Training Facility in Limassol and lasted 11 days with 2 days for the PADI run exam at the end.

I have to say it was the most intense course I have ever attended, and with the hard work and attention to detail paid individually to the students by Jurg Dahler it was tuition of the highest order.
