During the Boat Diver program you will go on two open water dives, which must be you got it conducted from a boat. (Both dives may be conducted in one day.) Its a good idea, but not an essential requirement, that you enrol in this program to learn the techniques and procedures for diving from different types of boats (inflatable boats, hard-hulled day boats, cabin cruisers, live-aboards, sailboats, etc.). Thats a good thing the more boats you can dive from, the more diving you get to do! And, the Elective Boat Dive from the Adventures In Diving counts toward certification requirements for this speciality at the discretion of the instructor. If boat diving is your key to a new adventure and you'd like to try it, contact your local Dive-In for more information. |
